Curriculum
The education of even a small child, therefore, does not aim at preparing him for school, but for life.” Maria Montessori
Classrooms are provided with full set the Montessori materials supported with unique set of Montessori booklet curriculum to master learning.
A wide range of materials provided in Montessori early childhood programs offer experiences in developing motor skills, independence, senses, and intellect.

Practical life: The practical life activities involve real-life materials and step-by-step techniques used to support the ability of children to interact with their environment and to prepare them for other areas of the Montessori curriculum. Children use real objects, not toys, so the child sees a need in the environment and can easily find the right material to deal with the need.
Sensorial: The sensorial materials help the children refine nine senses: visual, tactile, auditory, olfactory, gustatory, thermic, baric, stereognostic and muscular. Through sensorial education the children are given the means of classifying and categorizing the world around them. While they are refining their senses, the children are also developing their concentration, their sense of order, and their cognitive abilities.
In Montessori Happy Minds we provide the Montessori Sensorial program with English, French and Arabic, supported with assessment booklets to ensure the parents' involvement in the educational process.
Culture and science: In an early childhood environment, the Montessori culture and science curriculum encompasses geography, history, zoology, botany, and science. The hand-on activities give the children an understanding of the concept they are exploring.

Mathematics: Montessori mathematics focuses on numeration, the decimal system, and geometry. Our base system encourages the child to sequence and order their work. Beginning with numbers, children learn linear counting and recognition of numerals, which then leads into addition, subtraction, multiplication and division concepts. This is done through fun activities which involve lots of movement and group work.
In Montessori Happy Minds we provide the Montessori Mathematics program with English, French and Arabic, supported with assessment booklets to ensure the parents' involvement in the educational process.
Language Art: The Montessori Preschool language program is a powerful curriculum uses rich teaching environment to support children in their literacy at an early age in developing their reading and writing skills. The program focuses on phonics, helping children decode phonetic words, high frequency/sight words, diphthongs and digraphs.
In Montessori Happy Minds we provide the Montessori language Art program with English, French and Arabic, supported with assessment booklets to ensure the parents' involvement in the educational process.
Reading Program: In Montessori Happy Minds the Montessori approach uses a distinct set of practices that nurture a positive, natural learning experience to teach reading and writing. The Montessori curriculum is thoughtfully built around teaching children the many elements of reading and writing one by one, in a way accessible to and enjoyable by a child.
The Jolly Phonics program, which we developed in the classroom, is fun to teach and very suitable for young children. Each new letter sound (phoneme) is introduced with a story, song, and action. Both the stories and the actions keep the children actively involved and help them concentrate; the actions also act as a reminder when the children are not sure of the sound. As the children learn the letter sounds, they are also taught to blend (read) words, that use these sounds. The children are given a thorough grounding in blending regular words before attempting to read books.
Learning without tears: In Montessori Happy Minds, we use the wood piece play, the music and the pre writing technique to provide more visual, auditory, and kinesthetic opportunities for kids to enhance discoveries and problem solving. The Wood Pieces Set and activities help children develop fine motor, social, vocabulary, letter formation skills, and use of large arm movement with music to provide visual cues. Fun Wood Piece activities teach basic size, shape, and position concepts. Lines and Curves are used to form capital letters on the Letter Cards and the Mat.
Peace education: In Montessori Happy Minds, we educate the children about peace, we create a peace corner (quiet corner) in every classroom where children will create their calming bin and talking stick with the educators’ guidance. Three types of peace as well as social justice are introduced to the children based on their age.
Grace and Courtesy: Grace and Courtesy activities are about helping children learn and understand polite social norms. Our educators pay special attention to Grace and Courtesy activities when establishing a new classroom or welcome new children to establish and maintaining a community in the classroom. In these activities, we set the ground rule behaviors in our environment, which includes greeting people, caring of self, using manners, table manners, social communication, and caring for nature, which leads to treating the child with respect, teaching the child to respect themselves, teaching the child to treat others with respect, and teaching the child to treat their environment with respect.

Our classrooms are organized with different centres and materials to give the children the freedom to explore and learn independently. Practical life, sensorial, language art, mathematics, culture, music, dramatic play, art, and nature.
We follow specific principles in setting our environment such as how nature inspires beauty, color generates interest, furnishing defines space, texture adds depth, display enhances the environment, elements heighten ambiance and focal points attract attention.
Our classrooms are organized in a way that helps children make thoughtful decisions about the materials they would like to use to explore, learn and create different projects.
